Vijay Deverakonda Eyes Another Multiplex in Hyderabad

Vijay Deverakonda who is owning AVD Multiplex in Mahabubnagar in collaboration with Asian Cinemas is reportedly planning to expand his theatre business. The actor is said to be exploring a new multiplex in North Hyderabad, potentially around Medchal or Malkajgiri, targeting growing middle class audiences in these developing areas.
The proposed project is reportedly still at an early stage, with location, investment and construction details yet to be finalised. If the plan materialises, it could strengthen Vijay’s presence beyond acting and give him a larger stake in theatrical exhibition. His business move also reflects the growing interest among South Indian stars in cinema infrastructure.
Vijay is not the only South Indian star exploring theatre ownership. Mahesh Babu has partnered with AMB Cinemas in Hyderabad, while Allu Arjun has invested in AAA Cinemas. Asian Cinemas has also collaborated with several prominent personalities, highlighting how established actors are increasingly looking at multiplexes as long term entertainment businesses.
Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has also built a notable presence in the exhibition business through NY Cinemas, expanding the actor’s interests beyond films. Meanwhile, Vijay’s attention remains firmly on Ranabaali, his upcoming period action film with Rashmika Mandanna. The teaser is scheduled for September 9, ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on October 16, 2026.
