Pawan Kalyan approaches the High Court for protection

Keeping in precedent of celebrities approaching High Court for protection over their personality rights, film star and AP Dy CM Pawan Kalyan approached Delhi High Court.

After hearing his plea, Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora pointed out that Pawan Kalyan had already written to social media platforms regarding impunged content as per the order they have passed with regards to actor Ajay Devgn.

The Court had clarified that individuals seeking urgent takedown of objectionable online content must first approach the social media platforms first before directly seeking judicial injunction.

Senior Advocate J Sai Deepak appeared for Kalyan. He said that Kalyan was aggrieved by AI videos circulated on Google, impersonation and fake association content on Meta and e commerce platforms.

Following this, the court asked Pawan Kalyan to submit proof of infringing links and all relevant information to the social media platforms within 48 hours to enable them to take action as per IT Rules, 2021. The court posted the next hearing to 22 December 2025.
