The highly anticipated trailer for Aditya Dhar’s espionage thriller Dhurandhar dropped after a brief delay caused by the Red Fort incident. Set for a nationwide theatrical release on 5 Dec 2025, the film is billed as an “inspiring reallife” story that follows cross border intelligence operations and the sacrifices of RAW officers. The fourl minute trailer opens with Arjun Rampal’s ISI Major Iqbal quoting ZiaulHaq – “Bleed India with a thousand cuts” – then cuts to R Madhavan’s stern Ajay Sanyal declaring that Pakistan must be held accountable for sponsoring terror.

Akshaye Khanna’s fearsome Rehman Dakait, Sanjay Dutt’s menacing SP Chaudhary Aslam, the “Jinn”, and Ranveer Singh’s wrath filled RAW agent complete the introduction, each character given a dramatic tagline that underscores the film’s high stakes conflict. The trailer showcases brutal action, blood soaked sequences, and a tone that blends patriotism with raw vengeance, all backed by a thunderous score.

The trailer is being praised the visual design, the intense BGM, and the “mass” feel of the piece, noting that the production values rival any global release. While many called the cut “insane” and applauded the ensemble’s powerful presence, a few voices suggested the trailer could have been tighter and that Ranveer’s screen time felt brief compared to the other leads. Overall, the response has been overwhelmingly positive, with social media buzz labelling the film a future blockbuster.

Industry insiders note the film’s runtime may stretch close to four hours, prompting discussions of a possible two part release to preserve narrative depth. Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar promises a blend of gritty realism, highoctane action, and emotional sacrifice, positioning it as one of 2025’s most talked about releases.
