Speculation increasing on the Sankranti releases. Sankranti happens to be the most popular festival and the filmmakers target this festival to boost their collections and also entertain movie lovers.

Now, intense speculation is increasing over Sankranti releases in Telugu. Already Chiranjeevi-Anil Ravipudi confirmed that their project referred to Mega 157 will be releasing during Sankranti. Apart from Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja and Naveen Polishetty are targeting Sankranti festival.

Ravi Teja is starring in the direction of Kishore Tirumala while Naveen Polishetty is starring in Anaganaga Oka Raju. These films are nearing completion and apart from them, few more may join the Sankranti race.

Prabhas-Maruthi's The Raja Saab which is much delayed may target the Sankranti festival. In the meantime, Balakrishna's Akhanda Thaandavam, Pawan Kalyan's OG will be releasing during Dasara. While OG makers started the promos, Akhanda Thaandavam is maintaining silence and rumours are increasing that the film may release during Sankranti.

Even dubbing films are targeting Sankranti. Vijay's Jana Nayagan is releasing on 9 Jan. Even Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi may be releasing during Sankranti. Currently seven films are eyeing Sankranti festival and more may join in the coming days.
