Natasimha Balakrishna is known for his yeoman service through his Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital which is helping poor and needy patients to get cured in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Now, Balakrishna, who is also the MLA from Hindupur decided to take the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital to Amaravathi, capital of Andhra Pradesh. Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital at Thulluru, Amaravati on Wednesday. The hospital will be developed on 21 acres, with an investment of ₹750 crore for the first phase.
The hospital will be equipped with 500 beds and will be providing extensive services in Oncology. The organisers are planning to expand the services with integrated care manner and provide treatment for surgeries by 2028. In the second stage the hospital beds will be raised to 1000. The Hospital will be made into a refrence centre for the region coming up with various departments for high end surgeries.
