Gaddar Awards Announced From 2014 To 2023

The Telangana government has proudly presented the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to the film industry. A jury committee formed under the leadership of Jayasudha watched films for several days and announced the awards on May 29. Another committee, led by senior actor Murali Mohan, was formed to give awards for films from 2014 to 2023.

The awards ceremony recognized exceptional films and individuals, including Best Picture winners for each year from 2014 to 2023. The winners include "Run Raja Run" (2014), "Rudrama Devi" (2015), "Janatha Garage" (2016), "Baahubali 2" (2017), "Mahanati" (2018), "Maharshi" (2019), "Ala Vaikunthapuram" (2020), "RRR" (2021), "Sitaram" (2022), and "Hanuman" (2023). Special Jury Awards were also given, including the NTR National Award to Balakrishna, P.D. Jayaraj Award to Mani Ratnam, and B.N. Reddy Award to Sukumar.

The awards committee included notable industry professionals such as director K. Dasharath, producer D.V.K. Raju, actress Uuha, and senior journalist Umamaheswara Rao. The Telangana Film Development Corporation's MD was also a member of the committee.

The winners of the special awards are a testament to their outstanding contributions to the film industry. The Raghapathi Venkaiah Award was given to Yandamuri Veerendranath, while Vijay Deverakonda received the Kantha Rao Award.
