Allu Arjun talks about six pack secrets, Pushpa Pallu Scene and AA22xA6. Allu Arjun speaking at WAVES 2025 shared the secrets as to why he worked hard for six pack, the saree scene in Pushpa The Rule and his next project AA22 xA6.

On Six Pack

“Honestly, it’s about just the mindset. You know, twenty years back, to do something that was never done before by any other south actor…culturally it was not accepted, there were many taboos around that. I knew that it was a great sign, that if you just do it once, it takes one person to break that jinx.”

“Someone motivated me to do that by saying, I don’t think any south actors can come up with six packs. One of the actresses whom I worked with said that. And I took that up as a challenge. Then, I just did it for my people.”

On Pushpa The Rule saree scene

“It was a shot in the trailer, and it was also in one of the first teasers for Pushpa 2. I don’t know how many people have seen it. We started shooting it, and it was a very complex shot, and it took 70 to 80 takes. We started in the morning around 8:30 am, and around 11 am, I started to get the rhythm of it. Finally, by around 2:30 pm, we got the shot”.

“They had run out of all the numbers and the alphabets, so I just told them to take the clap out of it and said, ‘Whichever is the last take is the perfect one’, and we are going to do it until we get it right... We finally did it in 85th or 78th shot... We lost count,"

About AA22xA6

 “Yes, it's my twenty-second film it's with Atlee garu who directed Jawaan and many other superhit films in the South. So, we have come together. I really liked the idea that he told me and I like his aspirations and I felt we were like minds in many levels. We hope to bring a very new visual spectacle film to Indian Cinema. It will be a very International representation film with total Indian sensibilities.”
