Rakshana centers around ACP Kiran (Payal Rajput), a dedicated and honest police officer, who becomes entangled in a complex case. Her world is shattered when her close friend's death is ruled a suicide, but Kiran suspects foul play. Despite uncovering clues, her superiors dismiss her suspicions, attributing them to hallucinations. As more accidents and deaths are labeled as suicides, Kiran becomes convinced that a ruthless psychopath is at large.

The story unfolds as she navigates the investigation, encountering resistance from her superiors, including DGP Venkateswara Rao (Shivannarayana) and Ram (Vinod Bala), who play a key role in the narrative.

Sivannarayana excels in his role as the DGP, while Vinod Bala makes a noticeable impact. The remaining cast members, including Manas and Rajiv Kanakala, fulfill their respective roles adequately.
