Hyderabad, Jan 20: The XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at the Nampally Criminal Courts on Wednesday extend the remand of Satyam Computers founder B Ramalinga Raju and 10 others till February 3 in the multi-crore scam.Raju and his co-accused could not be produced before the judge since advocates were boycotting the court in support of the bandh call given by Telangana separatists and blocked the entrance of the court. Mr Raju was brought to the court from the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) where he is undergoing treatment for Hepatitis-C.

Eight other co-accused were made to wait in the police van on the court premises for over three hours after being brought from Chanchalguda Jail. Satyanarayan Raju and another co-accused was also present in the court.The Magistrate ordered that charges against the accused be framed on Feb 3 and extended their judicial remand till that date.Later, in view of the security of the accused, the magistrate extended the judicial remand till February 3 and adjourned the framing of charges case.
