TRS activists attack Jagan’s mini-hydel plant

Hyderabad,Dec 24: The agitating activists  now have  targeted  the industries and properties of people from Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema. This was evident from the fact that the  agitators  are targeting the establishments belonging to Andhraites.Congress MP from Kadapa Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy’s  mini-hydel power station at Chintakunta on the outskirts of Karimnagar town was attacked by pro-Telangana supporters.The agitators went out in a procession and attacked the mini-hydel project which is situated on the Kakatiya canal.

The infrastructure and the glasspanes were damaged creating tense situation.The timely intervention of the police brought the situation under control. According to the reports received here there is no production in the plant at the moment as there is no water in the canal.The protestors also damaged signboards of two business establishments belonging to Andhra businessmen. The agitators also vented their anger against the Congress by damaging the statue of Indira Gandhi.The TRS  activists and supporters of Telangana took out massive rallies protesting against the local Congress leaders.
