Ranabaali Shooting Wrapped After 130 Days

The makers of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Ranabaali have officially completed the film’s 130 day shoot. Director Rahul Sankrityan shared a behind the scenes video announcing the wrap. The period action drama has now entered post production, with the team working towards its October 16 worldwide theatrical release.
Rashmika recently completed her portions as Jayamma, receiving an emotional farewell from Vijay and the team. Director Rahul Sankrityan revealed that he named her character after his mother and designed Jayamma as a strong woman from a different era. The film reunites Vijay and Rashmika after Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.
Ranabaali is set against a 19th century backdrop and follows a period action narrative involving Vijay Deverakonda’s character and British era forces. Arnold Vosloo plays the antagonist, while the film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, with T-Series presenting the project.
Ajay-Atul have composed the music, while Nirav Shah and Jishnu Bhattacharjee have handled cinematography. The makers have also announced that the first half background score is complete, with post-production progressing alongside preparations for the October 16 Dussehra release. The full version of the much anticipated Endhayya Saami song is expected soon.
