Raviteja, Sree Leela's action entertainer Dhamaka hit the screens on 23 December 2022. The film is directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. The film's reviews are out and here are the 6 reasons not to watch Dhamaka.
1. The film has a weak story. Trinadha Rao Nakkina did not pay attention to the story and instead concentrated only on including the commercial elements. A weak story did not help the film at all. With no real story, it is useless to talk about the twists and turns and other thrilling elements.
2. Trinadha Rao Nakkina's screenplay went for a toss. His screenplay just passed through the motions and once the so-called routine twist was revealed ahead of the interval, there was nothing left in his screenplay in the second half and he just passed time to end the film on a predictable note.
3. Trinadha Rao Nakkina's direction nosedived to a new low. Once he failed with the story and screenplay, he couldn't come out with anything new in his direction and followed the copy-paste technique.
4. Weak antagonist also impacted the film in a huge way. Though Jayaram played a different role, his character is not elevated in a proper manner and instead, it was turned into a caricature.
5. Raviteja worked hard and his effort in fights, dances, and mannerisms is seen on screen. However, despite the extensive usage of VFX Graphics, and coloring, he couldn't hide his age. He looked extremely old and odd opposite stunning beauty Sree Leela.
6. Even the BGM, Cinematography and Dialogue did not inspire any confidence. While BGM turned out to be loud, cinematography at times looked pale while dialogues turned out to be routine. The so-called comedy track between Raviteja and Rao Ramesh and the song shot on him irritated all.
