Analysts after witnessing the recent turn of events in Tollywood are of the opinion that the momentum is shifting at a rapid pace post covid. Many expected the influential mega family to take the lead and revive the sagging fortunes in Tollywood. However surprisingly mega family has taken a back seat and turned out to be mute spectators and left the ground for others.

Following this, Natasimha Balakrishna unleashed his action entertainer Akhanda under the testing times and came up with a powerful roar. The film turned out to be the blockbuster post covid and this paved way for Icon Star Allu Arjun to come with Pushpa which created a sensation across the country. However Allu Arjun many feels is not considering himself to be a part of the mega family.

Then happened Rajamouli's RRR. The film starred Young Tiger NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan. NTR from Nandamuri family scored another blockbuster in form of RRR across the world. Though Ram Charan is also present in the film and got the same recognition, the mega family couldn't continue the momentum and power Tollywood to new heights.

While many expected Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan to do so with Acharya, the film turned out to be a disaster and from then on it has been a steep fall for Tollywood. When Tollywood has been waiting desperately losing all the hope, Kalyan Ram from Nandamuri family revived the sagging fortunes with his film Bimbisara. This showed that Nandamuri family is rewriting Tollywood story after covid pandemic and Nandamuri Clan is Tollywood's new sansthan.
