During the latest few months, the makers of high-octane commercial entertainers are coming up with lame excuses that their films are not doing well and biting the dust at the box office blaming the results on the off-season, change of tastes among movie lovers, and the growing popularity for the OTTs. But they are failing to realize that there are no takers for their so-called commercial entertainers. 

True, that people are showing interest to watch the film in OTTs and still movie lovers are showing interest to watch films like Nani's Ante Sundaraniki and Sai Pallavi, Rana's Virataparvam. Though the films after the theatrical release got rave reviews and appreciation from all quarters, collections turned out to be miserable. But people showed interest in watching them on OTTs and when Virataparvam was streamed on OTT it got good viewership.

The so-called Commercial Filmmakers blame everything on movie lovers and come up with lame excuses when their films bomb at the box office. Just by naming a film like Pakka Commercial doesn't turn the film into a commercial blockbuster. Pakka Commercial makers stuffed the film with senseless scenes, obscene dialogues, and rubbish comedy and came up with a stale project which wouldn't have worked had the film been released during the 70s. 

Commercial Filmmakers should realize that people's preferences changed and even commercial entertainers will break box office records only when the story is powerful, unique, and novel and screenplay is racy and scintillating and the direction is dazzling. If they think, they can fool people and take them for a ride with their routine so-called elements like cheap comedy, outdated scenes and routine hero elevations, and glamor treats, movie lovers will give them a huge commercial shock. This is an eye-opener for all so-called 'Commercial' filmmakers.
