Ranveer Singh is planning to start work on his zombie film Pralay despite the FWICE ban. The film will be directed by Jai Mehta and produced by Maa Kasam Films, True Story Films, and Birla Studios. Shooting is set to begin in August. The project needs around 500 people from action, lighting, costume, art, makeup, and spot teams. Ranveer is also linked to Aditya Dhar’s film on Chandragupta Maurya. The current ban has put both films in doubt.If the ban stays, the Pralay team may hire non-FWICE workers. Reports say they can take the cast and crew and shoot anywhere in India. FWICE rules apply only to its members. So the makers can work with local crews from other unions outside Mumbai. This way the film can move ahead without delay. Many small crews across India are not part of FWICE.FWICE advisor Ashoke Pandit says the group is strong because it has 34 vendor bodies under it. He feels the issue can be solved only if all sides meet and talk. The Don 3 problem is still active. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani say Ranveer left the film just three weeks before shoot. The company had already spent close to 45 crore on pre-production. With Don 3 on hold, Ranveer wants to keep Pralay on track.Pralay is said to be a big budget thriller with heavy VFX and action. All those things are routine and few hilarious scenes are just ok though they are nothing new.The first half ends with the revelation of the secrets of the protagonists and the entire second half is all about them proving their innocence. The director failed to connect the emotional chords and failed to establish how a small incidents lead to divorce. Few emotions are ok but the super heroes fights looked silly and didnot workout. He tried to load the second half with intense emotions but failed to do full justice to them.He ended few roles abruptly and didnot justify few characters in the film. He concentrated on the happenings in Varun's life and tried to surprise viewers.Though Jeethu Joseph tried to highlight the emotional complications and implications and also worked hard to maintain the thrill factor, viewers who watched the first two parts, feel everything is stretched and they could easily guess the next scenes and proceedings. They feel that Jeethu Joseph stretched the narration and the so called thrill factor to a point of no return. The slow pace in the first half tests the patience of the viewers. It is only during the runup to the interval block some sense of urgency is shown and few scenes increase the thrill factor.People expect a more interesting and intriguing second half. However the familiarity of the behavior of the characters robbed viewers of the novel feeling. Everything turns predictable be it the investigation sequences, emotional scenes and the pattern in unraveling the suspense. The conflict attracts all and though the interval block is routine, the first half ends on a decent note. When one expects a better second half, the narration turns cliched and screenplay goes for a toss. When he entered the industry his story telling turned out to be unique but he started using the same and followed the same using technological advances offering nothing new ending up testing the patience of the viewers.The narration lacks continuity and screenplay turned out to be bizzare and viewers are left wondering what he was upto. Though Dhruva Sarja worked hard, his character turned out to be loud. Reeshama Nanaiah is ok and Sanjay Dutt's character looked extremely awkward. As the narration progresses, the viewers interest wane and when the film ends, they heave a sigh of relief.The cinematography of William David added value to the narration turning it rich. However Arjun Janya's music failed with misplaced songs and also the background score turned out to be very jarry and loud. VFX turned out to be below average and the editing Sanketh Achar failed completely. What surprised all is they completely deleted the controversial song of Norah Fatehi. Many expected a better second half but once again, he came up with silly and senseless scenes irritating the viewers.His screenplay turned out to be senseless while direction turned rudderless. One gets a feeling that he is out only to murder movie lovers with his so called creative scenes.Uppu Maruthi failed completely as an editor. Though he couldn't be faulted as the story is senseless, he still left many ridiculous scenes. Anandmarukurthi's cinematography is below average. The music of Manizenna left a lot to be desired and so too is the background music. Dialogues are in bad taste and most of them are loaded with double meaning. The predictable flashback and the episodes in the second half makes viewers run for cover. There is no respite to the viewers as Raj Thalluri comes with scenes that defies logic and gives immese torture. The story is extremely weak and screenplay and direction is atrocious. Otherwise everything turns predictable and routine.Many such films came with similar backdrop and Karthikeya Kommi failed to excite all with the story. Right from the start till the finish, everything turns predictable and the scenes get repeated testing the patience of the viewers. Most of the time, he passed time with unnecessary elements. With the passage of time, even the artists on the screen seems to have lost interest in performing as they just passed through the motions.The story lacked novelty and after the unbearable first half, the second half turns up giving more torture.Climax to some extent comes with a shocking twist. Finally when the film ends, viewers will run towards the exit doors.Anand Gurrana's music is just ok. Songs placement are not in sync with the flow of the story. The songs are shot in a decent manner. &nbsp;Murali Mohan Reddy, Kare Sathish Kumar with their cinematography beautified the scenes on the screen. The story lacked novelty and his screenplay assumed the tried and tested format.He included intense action sequences and loaded with with extreme violence and gory scenes. One gets a feeling that Ravi Babu decided to come up with the most violent film in Telugu after Nani's Hit3 drawing inspiration from films like Marco and Kill.Except for the action sequences, everything turns monotonous and routine. The only saving grace is he included usage of technology in tracking the clues and merging of the videos to prove the sinster design of the criminals. Ravi Babu's screenplay and direction offered nothing new. While the first half though predictable is racy, the second half loses steam during the flashback episode.The background score added value to the narration. It is thumping and helped in maintaining the intensity levels. The Cinematography is in sync with the story and the Narration. Editing is quite good except for few scenes in the second half. Dialogues are ok and production values are fine. The so called comedy featuring various actors like Motta Rajendran, Sapthagiri, VTV.Ganesh didnot generate any laughs and ended up irritating viewers.Binendra Menon with his cinematography beautifed the film showing the visuals in an appealing manner. However, the same cannot be said about the music and background score tuned by Mickey J Meyer. Background music failed to make any impact and songs didnot register in the minds of anyone. Satish Surya's editing left a lot to be desired. He left many unnecessary and unwanted scenes in the film that tested the patience of the viewers.
