The controversy over ticket rates in Andhra Pradesh is snowballing to new heights with AP govt headed by CM Jagan Mohan Reddy at loggerheads with Tollywood biggies. Even after many theatres are closed, they decided to have their own way.

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma who came with blistering questions to AP cinematography minister Perni Nani citing facts, now blasted Tollywood for remaining silent. He asked Tollywood people to speak before they get completely marginalized.

It is  not my request, but it is my demand to all my colleagues in the film industry to speak up on their true feelings about the ticket rates issue because ippudu nollu moosukunte inkeppatikee theravaleru ..Tharvatha Mee kharma

Dear honourable minister of cinematography

@perni_nani Sir, I would request you to understand that your government has been given power to support from the bottom and not to sit on the top of our heads ..Thank you very much

Dear honourable minister of cinematography @perni_nani

Sir, I would like your honourable team to understand that pricing of heroes like

@alluarjun @pawankalyan @urstrulymahesh

etc is nothing but a subtract between  production cost and the expected recovery based on track record.
