The cracker of a contest in the T-20 World Cup started today with the India vs Pakistan match. The arch-rivals from the subcontinent crossed swords today and Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bowl. India got off to a disastrous start losing Rohit Sharma for 3 and Rahul for 0 and found itself reeling under pressure at 6/2. It was let to Suryakumar Yadav and Captain Kohli to repair the innings. However, Suryakumar Yadav got out with the scoreboard reading 31.

Rishabh Pant came in and after a slow start blasted two sixes and with Kohli in good knick, India found itself in a strong position at 88/2 in the 12th over. However, Rishabh Pant got out for 39 (30) and it slowed the pace of the innings. Kohli continued and scored 57(49) and with the support of Ravindra Jadeja, helped India post a challenging target of 151/7.

Among Pakistan bowlers, Shaheen Shah Afridi rattled India with his pace and got the important wickets of Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Rahul for 31 runs. Hasan Ali got 2 wickets for 44. Now all eyes are on whether India will be able to maintain its winning streak against Pakistan in the world cups or Pakistan will register its first win.
