Power Star Pawan Kalyan, chief of Jana Sena came with a hard-hitting speech at Republic pre-release event. Pawan's hard-hitting speech highlighting the problems faced by Tollywood like ticket pricing, occupancy in theatres, and online portal in Andhra Pradesh created ripples in the industry.

The way he daringly questioned the silence of the AP Government, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and the ministers for their inaction left all stunned. Pawan's powerful speech created flutters and at once the YSRCP leaders, Ministers, and the die-hard supporters like Posani Krishna Murali and others attacked Pawan Kalyan without answering his questions but instead attacking him personally.

Only young heroes like Nani, Karthikeya, and Sampoornesh Babu supported Pawan Kalyan and rumours spread that Pawan Kalyan is isolated in the industry and even his brother Mega Star Chiranjeevi did not approve his scathing attack on YS. Jagan's government. Telugu Film Chamber and Producers Council disowned Pawan Kalyan's statements and Manchu Vishnu supported AP Government. Minister Perni Nani today said that Chiranjeevi called from Ooty and apologized for Pawan Kalyan's attack on the government. He said Chiranjeevi disowned Pawan Kalyan's statements.

However, what many are missing is a lack of support or no support to Pawan Kalyan is just a myth. There is no denying the fact that Pawan Kalyan boldly highlighted the problems faced by the industry. It is known that Chiranjeevi and others for a long time have been trying to meet AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss the problems faced by the industry. But despite a couple of meetings, nothing materialized and even the so called meet between Jagan and Tollywood delegation did not happen and Minister Perni Nani without any meeting, spoke about the online ticket portal. He did not talk about the ticket prices and Natti Kumar and others came in support of the Government's reduction of prices and also said theatres are collecting high prices.

This shows that AP Government headed by Jagan is keen to bring Tollywood on its knees and is in no mood to revoke the GO passed at midnight targeting Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab. Many may be remaining silent at present for the fear of experiencing the wrath of the YSRCP government targeting their films and Chiranjeevi may be maintaining a stoic silence but silently everyone is congratulating and supporting Pawan Kalyan for his aggressive speech which forced Minister Perni Nani to meet the producers at once today without any delay. The producers Dil Raju and others nowhere in their meeting said that they disown Pawan Kalyan's words. They are only being diplomatic for the fear of the AP government's wrath. People are left wondering why the AP government want's to have its own government ticketing portal while private portals like BookMyShow and others are already there. This only shows the ulterior motive of the AP government and one cannot suspect Pawan Kalyan's allegation to get bank loans based on film revenues. Minister Nani's comments that people are unaware of the online ticket portal are laughable and silly as everyone uses smartphones and book tickets online.

So 'No Support' to Pawan Kalyan is just a myth and it is only silence before the Pawan storm.
