Ravichandran Hits Back At Shankar

The fight between producer V Ravichandran and filmmaker Shankar is getting murkier ever since the latter announced the Hindi remake with Bollywood hero Ranveer Singh which is bankrolled by Pan India. The producer who ahd produced Anniyan in 2005 said that he has produced the film and complete owner of storyline.

However, Shankar has reacted to the producer’s claim stating, “In this context, I submit that the movie was released in the year 2005 and everyone associated with the movie were aware that the script and storyline belongs exclusively to me and in fact the movie was released with the tag: Story, Screenplay and Direction by Shankar”.

To this, Ravichandran has said that Anniyan is his baby and everyone is aware including people in Bollywood that the film belongs to him. Having been in the business for over three decades, this is the first time he has taken legal route, says the producer. He also revealed that after he released statement Shankar didn’t call him. But he is adamant to taking legal route.
