RRR marks the Tollywood debut of Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt who plays the role of Sita opposite Ram Charan in the SS Rajamouli directorial where NTR is the other male lead. There is good interest on every move of Alia Bhatt among Telugu audience ever since she signed RRR. Apart from this, Alia Bhatt is also starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Gangubai Kathiawadi" features Bhatt as Gangubai, one of the most powerful, loved and respected madams from Kamathipura during the 1960s. Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the drama was earlier scheduled to arrive in theatres on September 11 in 2020 but was delayed to the coronavirus pandemic.

The makers today on the eve of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday announced to release Gangubai Kathiawadi on July 30th which means it will clash with Rebel Star Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam. Prabhas is a Pan India star and Radhe Shyam is one of the most awaited films across the country. The question is will Gangubai Kathiawadi give any fight to Radhe Shyam?
