Whistle, Khaidi Impact On Master

Compared to other Tamil stars, Vijay didn’t have a strong market in Telugu. But, things were changed after his last film Whistle turned out to be a hit here. Like Tamil audience, Telugu audiences too are waiting eagerly for the next release of Vijay which is carrying positive reports in film and trade circles.

On the other hand, the film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who delivered a massive hit with his last film Khaidi that starred Karthi. There’s huge impact of box office performance of the hero and director’s previous respective films. Songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander were chartbusters and teaser too got excellent response. Above all, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi playing the main antagonist. Fans are eager to see Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi together on screen.

Considering the buzz surrounding Master, Twitter has launched an emoji dedicated to the movie. Fans can simply tweet with #Master and that will enable the emoji - inspired by Vijay's role in the film.

Master is all set to hit the screens on January 13, simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, to coincide with the Sankranthi Festival.
