Harish Shankar Gave The Tag To Ravi Teja

Ravi Teja is known as the most energetic star in Tollywood. One can see mass mannerisms in his films, action and body language. Now mass director Harish Shankar revealed how Ravi Teja became Mass Maharaj.

He said, “I did Veede and Naa Autograph Sweet Memories as assistant director with Ravi Teja. We both are fans of Amitabh Bachchan. We like Hindi films a lot. Due to our common interests, we used to spend most time during the shot gap. Whenever I used to reach the shooting spot early morning or when I went to the office and met him, I used to call him 'Mass Maharaj'."

Harish Shankar continued, “During Lakshyam audio function, when Ravi Teja came as a chief guest, in order to surprise him, I went to Suma and asked her to call Ravi Teja as Mass Maharaj when she invites him on the stage. She did the same and Ravi Teja realized that I was behind it and with a smile he came to the stage. From then on everyone started calling him as Mass Maharaj.”

Harish Shankar added, “After Mirapakaya, when I went to Ravi Teja's office, I saw a young boy. I recognized him and called him 'Mass Yuvraj' Mahadhan. Ravi Teja who heard it said 'appude modalettesava'. I told 'mari ante kada annayaya. Son of Mass Maharaj becomes Mass Yuvraj. I don't know whether Mahadhan becomes a star, will he be addressed as Mass Yuvraj, but this is the real story behind Mass Maharaj".
