Liver Transplant Surgery For National Award Winner

Popular lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja is currently undergoing surgery. Doctors are performing liver transplant operation. He has been admitted to the hospital after he complained of illness.

Suddala Ashok Teja is shifted to the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. While he has been suffering from liver-related problems, doctors decided to perform liver transplant surgery. His family members are searching for the B -ve blood group. Sources reveal his health condition is stable.

Suddala Ashok Teja is popular for many hit songs and he won the National Film Award for Best Lyrics in the year 2003 for his song Nenu Saitham in the movie Tagore (2003) it is based on Sri Sri's 'Nenu Saitham' from Mahaprasthanam. He is the third writer to win the national award after  Sri Sri for his "Telugu veera levaraa" in Alluri Sitaramaraju and Veturi for his "Raalipoye puvva neeku ragaalenduke" in "Matrudevobhava".
