Megastar Chiranjeevi is no ordinary hero. Directors wait for him for years, if he gives green signal to work with them. Meanwhile, a media house came up with a silly assumption only with the intention of degrading Chiru’s image. It reported that, Koratala is losing Rs 30 Crore on Chiranjeevi’s ongoing film Acharya.

It is known that, Chiranjeevi signed Koratala Siva nearly two years ago. Chiru wanted to start his ambitious project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy first and asked Koratala whether he can wait for some more time for him. Who would miss an opportunity to work with Chiru? Siva then said he had no qualms.

Then, Chiru underwent physical transformation as requested by Koratala. Finally, the movie went on floors and 40% of the shoot is already completed. There was confusion over actor to play extended cameo in the film. Chiru clarified that his son Ram Charan is finalized for the role.

Now, due to coronavirus lockdown all the film production activities come to standstill.

Apparently, Acharya may not see theaters this year and it may be pushed to next year. So, Koratala will be spending a total of 3 years on the project. The media claims that, the director loses 30 crores because of delay in Acharya.

But, the fact is Koratala is not that worried about his remuneration. He, however, was desperate to work with megastar. It’s like dream come true for him. Moreover, Ram Charan will be teaming up with Koratala after wrapping up RRR. So, there won’t be any delay for his next film. He is also promised additional remuneration for the film.

If equations are not good, Koratala would have walked out of mega compound and would have looked for other options for his next project.

On the other hand, Koratala is not doing one film in a calendar year. It took more than couple of years for him to complete and release his first film Mirchi with Prabhas. In last seven years, after the release of Mirchi, Koratala directed only three films.

To conclude with, waiting for Chiru is not a sin for any director including Koratala Siva!
