Telangana CM KCR was the first CM to have appealed the prime minister Narendra Modi to extend nation-wide Lockdown for two weeks. KCR reiterated the same appeal during the CMs meeting convened by the PM.

Finally, KCR announced Lockdown's extension upto April 30.

If the ongoing reports from Delhi are to be believed, KCR might receive a huge jolt from the PM. The union government is reluctant to extend nation-wide Lockdown. Instead, the CMs of respective states maybe directed to proclaim the Lockdowns given the intensity of the spread of the dreaded coronavirus.

According to another proposal put in front of the officials that the country would be divided into three zones such as green, orange and red zones. District will be taken as a unit.

The districts that are not affected with coronavirus are called green zones and there will be no Lockdown nor any restrictions would be imposed on the people. And the districts that have less than 15 corona positive cases will come under orange zones. Public transport and transport of agricultural products will be allowed in these districts. And the districts that have more thn 15 corona positive cases recorded are treated red zones. Lockdown will be extended in these zones.

However, there is no official announcement from the union government on Lockdown extension yet.
