TRPs: Ala Prefers Straight Route to Side Route!

Ever since Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru generated all time record TRP 23.6 on small screen, there has been a big demand from some of the Allu Arjun's fans for latest industry hit Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's makers to make the film's world premiere show telecast in this lockdown season. 

It is a known news that SLN was recently broadcast by Gemini TV. Since the film watched by record number of viewers due to lockdown, the film created an all time record in TRPs. Incidentally, AVPL's satellite rights were also given to Gemini TV. 

If at all AVPL is aired by Gemini TV in this lockdown period, it would be a cakewalk the film carried out 25+ TRPs. 

However a source said, "Gemini TV would broadcast the film as per the agreement set between the makers and the channel. In fact, the makers want the film is broadcast after the lifting of lockdown period."

"But then, what if the film misses record TRPs if it is screened post the lockdown period?," questioned a journo. "Team AVPL seems hardly concentrates on such petty records. It appears they prefer straight route to side route even if the film misses record TRPs," he viewed.
