Baahubali the Beginning and Baahubali the Conclusion (BB 2) films stood as the biggest grossers at all India level and made Telugu people raise their collars in pride. Rajamouli has emerged as the number one director of India with these films.

Apart from Rajamouli's factor, the magnitude of the film has also played a vital role in making the BB series films titanic hits. It's said more than five times the budget of ordinary commercial potboilers was invested for BB series films. Besides, the films were made as multi-lingual pan Indian projects.

All said and done, Baahubali series films will always be placed in a special category among other Indian films and ordinary commercial films shouldn't be compared with BB series films. If at all regular films are compared, it's merely a humiliation for Baabubali films.

As we know, Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo turned as latest industry hit of Tollywood (non BB) at the moment. It's learnt that some people desperately tried to degrade industry hit status of AVPL comparing with BB series films. In fact, there is a ploy behind it. Although, many big stars of current generation have at least one industry hit into their kitty, one big star has none. That's why, particular Andhra BO tracking media helplessly compared AVPL's collections with BB2 and claimed it's not an IH. And this strange view was adopted by some innocent web media.

Post the releases of BB, Prince Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu, Megastar Chiranjeevi's Khaidi Number 150, Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam and Stylish Star Allu Arjun's AVPL have stood as industry hits (non BB). If AVPL is not an IH, then, Srimanthudu and other IHs should also be not considered industry hits. Will Mahesh's fans or other heroes fans admit it? No way. All in all, our regular commercial industry hits must be given respect to their box office stature.
