Vijay Deverakonda Needs A Hit Before Fighter

Youth sensation Vijay Deverakonda who created a niche for himself with youthful entertainers is making his entry in Bollywood with a sports based film tentatively titled Fighter. The Puri Jagannadh’s film is in initial stages of production and the makers are planning to release the film in summer.

However, Vijay Deverakonda needs a hit before the release of Fighter, because his last two films NOTA and Dear Comrade were flops. His next release will be World Famous Lover. The film directed by Kranthi Madhav will grace the theaters on February 14th. Raashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa, Aishwarya Rajesh and Izabelle Leite are the female leads.

Puri Jagannadh delivered super hit with his last flick iSmart Shankar and Karan Johar is one of the top filmmakers in India. Nonetheless, if Vijay too has a hit before Fighter, it will be an added advantage for the film. The impact of result of World Famous Lover will be there on Fighter.

Puri and Karan are giving ample time for Vijay in February to promote WFL, before and after release of the film.
