Strong content and not the budget and combination are the key to the success of a film. So the filmmakers burn the midnight oil to get the powerful storylines.

Once they get powerful stories, they may not get the dates of the stars. Sometimes hero may be ready but directors do not have powerful stories. That is the reason why Remakes are becoming the right choice for the top stars.

Among the Remakes, free makes are the most preferred. Taking a point from the hit films and then penning their own story too comes under creativity. Many feel acquiring the rights of the hit film and remake it will be the easiest and profitable manner. The other option is to pick the point and write the story according to the tastes of the Telugu movie lovers elevating the heroism of the Tollywood stars.

Top Tollywood stars are now gunning for Remakes to show their power on screen. They include Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh. Chiranjeevi who made a grand re-entry with Kahidi No 150, remake of Tamil hit Katti, is now starring in Koratala Siva's direction after showing his power with Sye Raa. His next is the remake of Malayalam hit Lucifer.

Balakrishna is having many Remakes in his career. Till recently rumors spread that Balakrishna would star in PINK remake. However, this remake now went to Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Venkatesh is known to score hits with the Remakes. He acquired the rights of Hindi film De De Pyaar De. He announced that he would star in the remake of Tamil hit Asuran.

Nagarjuna is showing interest in remaking Ajay Devgn's Ride. It is not clear which film will go to sets first and which among them will undergo numerous changes.

Even young stars are showing in the Remakes of the hits in other languages. Till recently Tollywood stars used to star in the Remakes of Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films. But now they are training their guns on Bollywood hits. Sharwanand is starring in Tamil hit 96 remake. A young hero is showing interest in starring in Andha Dhun's remake. Ram is showing interest in starring in Thadam's remake.

Even Tollywood films are getting remade in Bollywood. They include RX 100, Jersey, Geetha Govindam, Taxiwala, etc.
