Startling Revelation About YMC Climax

Movie lovers and those in love can never forget the magic created by Gautam Menon with Ye Maaya Chesave in Telugu. The film was simultaneously made in Tamil as Vinnaithaandi varuvaaya with Simbu playing the lead.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha romanced for the first time on screen. Samantha made her debut in Tollywood with this film and went on to become a star heroine and even fell in love with Chaitu during this film and finally entered into wedlock recently.

It is known that the climax of Tamil and Telugu versions are different. While the Tamil version had a sad ending, Telugu version had a happy ending.

Gautam Menon speaking about it made a startling revelation about the Telugu version climax. He said he was forced to change the tragic climax of the Telugu version. He recollected how he was told that Tollywood movie lovers wouldn't accept tragic ending. He said he felt ashamed of it, though the climax was inspired by real life.

His upcoming entertainer Ennia Noki Paayum Thota is releasing in Telugu as Thoota. Rana is playing the guest role in the film which stars Dhanush and Megha Akash in the lead.
