King Nagarjuna is not only known for his handsome and charming looks but also for doing different genre roles cutting across various genres. So when it came out that Nag would be seen as a womanizer in Manmadhudu 2, touted as a sequel for his classic Manmadhudu in which he was seen as a woman hater, everyone got super excited.  Many waited eagerly for the film release to find out how Nag performed in the completely contrasting role compared to the original.

Nag as usual stunned all with his every handsome looks and many believed that Rakul Preet Singh's words 'Hot Old Man' suits him. But those who watched the film completely are heard commenting 'Nag-Naa Idharkaa Naa Udharkaa' and he is at crossroads.

When Nag did the films like Soggade Chinni Naayana and Oopiri, many heaped praises for his selection of films and analysts said senior stars should learn from him.

But he plunged into flops with Officer and now with negative reports coming for Manmadhudu 2, question marks are increasing over his career. Nag did different genre films like Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu, Oopiri, Rajanna, Gaganam etc and also romantic entertainers like Soggade Chinni Naayana.

Now at the age of 60 if he tries to do playboy kind of roles, movie lovers blast him saying he is trying to ape young heroes like Vijay Devarakonda and if he does roles like making fun of his age and looks, he will be criticized for trying to ape heroes like Venkatesh, who already had patent for such roles as he did numerous films like Malliswari, Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav, Seenu etc.

Nagarjuna should explore a completely different genre and do roles suited for his age rather than run after doing lover boy roles even now. He should do this to avoid comparison from movie lovers with both senior and young heroes. In these aspects already Venkatesh and Chiranjeevi are racing way ahead of other senior stars while Balakrishna is busy with his mass action entertainers.
