Nagarjuna Breaks NTR’s Record!

Bigg Boss Telugu 3, hosted by King Nagarjuna, is off to a great start. The popular TV reality was launched on 21st of July in a grand manner with Nagarjuna introducing all the contestants on single day.

Guess what, Nagarjuna broke the previous best TRP record of Bigg Boss show. The inaugural episode of Bigg Boss season one hosted by young tiger NTR got 16.18 TVR, while the launching episode of season two hosted by Natural Star Nani clocked 15.05 TVR. Now, the launching episode of season three beat previous record with huge margin. The show got 17.92 TV ratings.

Lots of things happened in less than two weeks time in the Bigg Boss show. Character artist Hema faced elimination in first week itself and unlike previous seasons a wild card entrant has arrived right after the first week itself.

In July 29 episode, the housemates saw the entry of Tamanna Simhadri, the first wild card entrant of the third season. Tamanna, who won the title of Miss Transgender Mumbai pageant in 2010, is the first transgender contestant that the show has had.

So far, Nagarjuna won marks for his good hosting skills. He will make his appearance another time in the show in a couple days. The good response for Bigg Boss 3 will surely boost confidence in Nagarjuna and it will also help his next outing Manmadhudu 2 releasing on August 9th.
