Handsome hunk Rana Daggubati is trying hard to prove that he is a versatile actor with the kind of roles and films he is picking. After doing a mighty villain in Baahubali series, he was seen as a politician in Nene Raju Nene Mantri and later essayed Chandra Babu Naidu in NTR Biopic. Rana is presently starring various multi lingual projects and one amongst them is Hathi Mere Sathi.

Meanwhile, a leaked picture of the film is going viral in social media. In the picture, Rana is seen as an old man with fully grown beard. He apparently lost some weight to play the role. This is stunning transformation from his previous look as CBN in NTR Biopic where he was seen in clean-shaven look.

The trilingual drama features Pulkit Samrat, Vishnu Vishal, Zoya Hussain and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles. Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the film is being shot simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil with a different cast across languages. The movie highlights the man-animal relationship and is a story inspired by true events; it’s also a tribute to the 1971 classic film Haathi Mere Saathi starring Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja.
