We have seen many directors turning actors. Though Telugu directors are not so keen to take up acting job, several Tamil directors tested their luck as actors and most of them succeeded as well. SJ Suryah, Sasikumar, Samuthirakhani, Sundar C, Cheran, Parthiban, Bhagyaraj etc. are the Tamil directors who became successful as actors as well.
In Telugu, K Vishwanath, Shankar, Devi Prasad, Vishwanath Kasi, V Samudra, Anish Kuruvilla, Tharun Bhacker etc tested their luck as actors. Now, another director is turning actor. He is none other than mass director Vv Vinayak who made several blockbusters with star heroes.
Ace producer Dil Raju who is enjoying the success of his latest outing Maharshi starring Mahesh Babu has today speaking at Tirumala Temple announced that, Vv Vinayak will be playing a lead actor in his next production venture to be directed by a newcomer.
As per the story prepared by this director, it needs a middle-aged person to play the lead role and he feels Vinayak fits the bill aptly. Dil Raju too is convinced with the idea. Though, this will be first film as lead actor for Vv Vinayak, he earlier played cameos in few of his previous directorial ventures.
Apparently, Vv Vinayak who delivered few flops in recent times feels he can impress Telugu audience as an actor. In fact, he may take up acting seriously, if this film clicks at box office.
