Director Clarifies On Pawan, Pooja

Director Harish Shankar once got a golden opportunity to direct Power Star Pawan Kalyan in Gabbar Singh which was a runaway hit. In fact, Gabbar Singh provided much needed break for Pawan Kalyan who faced countless flops for nearly a decade. Harish was original choice for Gabbar Singh sequel. But, owing to some reasons he was replaced by Bobby to helm Sardaar Gabbar Singh which ended as a debacle.

It is known that, Pawan Kalyan took advance from producers of Mythri Movie Makers long ago for a film. But, owing to his busy schedules in politics, he couldn’t make his promise then. Santosh Srinivas was supposed to direct this film, remake of Tamil hit Theri.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife with the reports that, Harish Shankar met Pawan Kalyan recently to narrate a story. The reports added that, the film will be made under Mythri Movie Makers banner. However, Harish came up with a clarification on this. He also rubbished the rumors of Pooja Hegde being paid a hefty pay for his ongoing film with Valmiki with Varun Tej.

“As the news are going viral, I feel responsible to give clarity on  these two things:

1) The remuneration thing about @hegdepooja is not true 

2) As you all know, I love to direct Power Star the news about recent meeting is also 

not true.

I request all the film lovers to wait for the official announcement either from me or from Production House ... Thank you.”

Though Harish Shankar didn’t meet Pawan Kalyan, apparently, there’s a proposal of a film in their combination under Mythri Movie Makers. Let’s wait for official announcement on this!
