Mahesh Babu, many feel, is alienating middle class. His actions are discussed by not his critics or common people but his diehard fans. They are now advising Mahesh not to fall in the trap of directors who are coming up with routine stuff. This is gaining momentum after the feedback they are getting from Mahesh's prestigious milestone entertainer Maharshi directed by Vamsi Paidipally which is releasing on May 9th.
Till now the promos from Maharshi makers did not generated any positive buzz. Teaser turned out to be routine and did not give any extraordinary feel. Same is the case of Devi Sri Prasad's tunes for the three songs which were released. Now diehard fans of Mahesh are getting worried about the feedback.
Another thing is many feel Mahash is alienating middle class. All his roles till now resemble similar and tailor-made for him. Mahesh is selecting films in which his roles turnout to be super rich and born with the silver spoon. In Bharat Ane Nenu, Srimanthudu, Brahmotsavam all his roles show Mahesh as an heir apparent of crores of family business and do not have any identity.
In his career best films- be it Pokiri and Okkadu, Mahesh attracted as a middle class person and this connected well with the masses. But of late for some reason, he is doing roles of multi millionaire’s kid. Everyone knows that only when stars like Mahesh does with middle class touch and commercial elements, masses will get a kick. Fans are dreaming to see Mahesh in those roles. Will Mahesh give green signal?
