2018 is nearing completion. While some heroines tasted success, few others received failures. Most of the star heroines failed to sparkle on screen this year.

Anushka got confined to just one film Bhaagamati. Rakul Preet Singh did not do even a single Telugu film. Though she starred in a Bollywood film it failed at the box office. Samantha scored hits like Rangasthalam, played a key role in Mahanati and impressed all with U Turn. She even starred in couple of Tamil films.

Tamannaah and Kajal entertained with three films this year. Tamannaah got shocks in form of Naa Nuvve and Next Enti. She is sizzling in a special song in KGF. Kajal played a key role in Awe and her MLA turned out to be an average grosser while Kavacham failed to impress.

Keerthy Suresh who stole the hearts with Mahanati did not show her power another time. She did not have any releases in Telugu except for Agnyathavaasi and Mahanati. However she attracted with dubbing films Sarkar, Pandem Kodi 2 and Sami 2.

Pooja Hegde tasted a flop in form of Sakshyam but scored a hit with Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. Anupama Parameswaran had mixed bag of luck. She starred in Krishnarjuna Yudham, Tej I Love You and Hello Guru Prema Kosame. Only Hello Guru Prema Kosame attracted to some extent. 

Sai Pallavi is treading carefully despite hits. She did not do any film after Kanam and her next Padi Padi Leche Manasu is releasing on Dec 21. Rashmika attracted with Chalo and created a sensation with Geetha Govindam. She sizzled in Devdas and is now starring in Dear Comrade. Rashmika is currently busy with two Kannada films and is unable to adjust her call sheets in Tollywood.

Rashi Khanna starred in three films and scored a hit with Tholi Prema. Kiara Advani scored a hit on debut with Bharat Ane Nenu romancing Mahesh Babu. Anu Emmanuel had a bad year with Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi, Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India and Naga Chaitanya’s Sailaja Reddy Alludu.
