Mahesh Babu Liked Rangasthalam, But

Super Star Mahesh Babu is acting like peddanna of the Telugu film industry. He has been encouraging young talent and also his contemporaries whenever they are coming up innovative or entertaining film. 

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Rangathslam directed by Sukumar was one of the films that Mahesh Babu liked to the core. He even lauded the entire team of Rangasthalam that showed an ultimate artist in Charan and versatility in director Sukumar.

Mahesh Babu gave immediate nod to Sukumar even before listening to script for a film to be made under Mythri Movie Makers Banner, even though the duo’s previous film 1-Nenokkadine was a disaster.

Sukumar narrated a periodic story set in pre-Independence era in Telangana region. However, Mahesh asked the director to come up with a different story. It’s because Rangasthalam effect is there heavily on Tollywood. Nearly, half a dozen periodic films are in the making stages. Mahesh Babu doesn’t want to follow the current trend in Tollywood.

On the other hand, Sukumar who is on a mission to make a memorable film with Mahesh Babu is working on a different plot along with his writing time. Mahesh is said to have given another one month time to Sukumar to brief him the new story.

If Sukumar can come up with a script that will please Mahesh Babu, it will go on floors after the latter wrapping up Maharshi or else Koratala Siva’s film will begin first.
