Shivshankar master, top choreographer attracts all with his unique mannerisms. Speaking to scribes he spoke about top stars in the industry. On his feminine expressions, he said he has even ferocious side and he just like Lord Shiva has both feminine and masculine qualities.
On yesteryear heroes he said Krishna is a good dancer but added that there is technique to get the optimum out of it. He said heroine shouldn't be near him but placed in front of him and seeing them, Krishna performs any dance and even break dance with ease. He said it is difficult to make Sobhan Babu dance. He they used to dance at least that much as Heeralal made them twist their bodies. He said ANR and Chandramohan used to dance very well.
He said NTR used to treat him with lot of respect though his mentor Salim used to leave the composition to him. He said NTR never refused any movements and he will do with ease if the movements suits his body language. He said he did Varudu with Bunny. He added thatANR loves few twists and turns in the movements.
He said of the current lot Allu Arjun is the top dancer and Bunny worked hard to reach this stage and he like him a lot. He added Jr NTR is a good actor.
On differences with Silk Smita he said he respected her a lot as she spent 20k from her pocket to beautify a 5k saree. He said however she used to come with her own dance masters and refer renowned dance master Puligiri Saroja. He said if the makers donot get her,she used to trouble them a lot. He said he composed four songs for Balakrishna's Bhale Tammudu and was supposed to choreograph the fifth song on Silk Smitha.
He said at night after the rehearsal he got call from the company saying that he and Silk Smitha had problems. When he told that he had no issues, producer Arjun Raju said master composed movements well and replace Smitha if she wasn't keen.
On his backpain and chiranjeevi's Ragulutondi Mogalipoda, he said after composing the song he had to take bedrest for three months. He said he didnot inform even to his mentor. He said the film became a trendsetter and his pain went away in that happiness. He said he got damaged his backbone at the age of 9 years and used to walk holding a tricycle. He said NTR was a legend and his grand son has all his qualities.
He said among heroines Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Meenakshi Seshadri, Radha are beautiful dances. He added Mithun Chakraborthy wanted him to be in Bollywood permanently but he escaped as there was no time sense among Bollywood stars. He said they come at 12 noon, go for lunch at 1 PM aand return at 3 PM. He said compared to Bollywood,Tollywood is known for punctuality.
He said he can compete with the younger lot and revealed that he composed the fast beat Manmadha Raja song. He said Chiranjeevi always used to ask for various movements and select fro mthem. He said Chiranjeevi is a beautiful dancer. He said Raghavendra Rao used to ask 30 movements from his mentor Salim master and of them used to select few of them.
He revealed that he composed 6-7 movements for Magadheera song. However Rajamouli though liked the movements refused them saying he needs movements only for the heroines. He asked Rajamouli whether he really didnot like the movement and told him that if hero donot have any movements, they willnot take him for their next projects. Rajamouli told him that he knows about his talent and neednot worry.
He said he choreographed for Rajamouli's Magadheera and Yamadonga and even got a call for Maryadaramanna and Baahubali. He said he couldn't take them as he was busy with other langauges.
He said he worked harf for Arundhati shooting for 32 days and then for Dheera Dheera song in Magadheera for 22 days. He said he composed Gorinta Poosindi,Vedam Modam Naadam songs in Khaidi for Chiranjeevi. He said he did a demo shoot for Chiranjeevi's Sai Raa and will get to know in few days how far it works out.
