Chiranjeevi Following Dasari in Politics?

Is Megastar Chiranjeevi following late Darshakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao in politics? Having gone through Megastar's political passiveness, some political analysts felt that the Megastar had been following the footsteps of Dasari in politics. 

Dasari never preferred contesting in elections. Instead, he was nominated for Rajyasabha and was made union minister by the Congress party. 

Chiranjeevi, on the contrary, had been active in politics until 2014's general elections. Thereafter, Megastar appeared to have gone dormant state in politics and has been busy working for films. Maybe, if Congress party regains power at the centre, would rope in Chiranjeevi as a union minister. 

"But then, given his charisma and great fan following even today, Megastar is better to play a vital role in AP's politics", say analysts. "Pawan Kalyan isn't doing straightforward politics and is supporting ruling TDP in AP which is not liked by mega fans. Although, PRP faced a defeat in 2009's elections, Chiranjeevi would run straightforward and candid politics which are desperately needed by mega fans at this juncture in AP. Whatsoever, Chiranjeevi's reentry into AP politics may yield him better results than his previous attempts," they added.
