Padmaavat Extraordinary Record in US

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat has created a rare feat in North America. As of now, the movies, which were tagged as the blockbusters, collected a maximum gross of $4 M at North Indian box office. 

Padmaavat, however, minted close to $5 leaving a shocker to trade experts. The film amassed a total of $4,980,887 (31.71 cr.). Exuberant with the response, the US exhibitors have decided to add more screens soon.

Padmaavat is also recording great performance at Indian box office. The film, which has minted Rs.112 crores so far, is likely to breach Rs.200 crores soon. 

In spite of Karni Sena's huge protests against the film,, Padmaavat has succeeded in winning the box office race. Deepika Padukone, Ranvir Singh and Shahid Kapoor essayed lead cast of the movie while Bhansali himself, composed music and bankrolled the project.
