Krishna Vamsi Takes Pity on Puri

It is a known news that TV channels have gone overboard showcasing director Puri Jagannadh and other Tollywood's celebs in poor light after they had received notices from excise department on drugs consumption charges. Somehow, it appeared channels mercilessly tried to assassin the characters of Puri and other celebs. 

Director Ram Gopal Varma came down heavily on the way Puri and other celebs were shown in media as if they were real culprits. RGV's protege and Creative director Krishna Vamsi has also echoed the views of RGV.

"Media acted naughtily in drugs menace. They needn't have broadcasted the same news repeatedly. I have known Puri ever since he appeared as a junior artist in Shiva. He helped many people in the industry. I was grieved hearing the news that Puri's name had been connected with drugs racket. I am not in a position to judge who's right. But the way he was shown in bad light in media should be condemned. RGV reacted well on the issue. Nowadays news is dramatized and glamorized," says Krishna Vamsi.
