Prabhas Statue: Why Bangkok? Why Not London?

Having heard Young Rebel Star Prabhas' wax statue would be installed in Madame Tussauds Museum, everyone thought that the statue would be placed in most popular Tussauds Museum in the city of London. Madame Tussauds Museum of London founded in 1835  The museum consists of wax statues of many big leaders from royal families, famous actors and sporting personalities across the world. Had Prabhas' statue got installed in London, it would have been a great moment for film lovers.

But then it is learnt that Prabhas' wax statue would be sent to Madama Tussauds of Bangkok, which was launched just in recent years. For the past couple of years, a good number of films from Tollywood have been shot in Bangkok. Telugu filmmakers like Rajamouli and others have good rapport with the officials of Thai government and the organizers of Tussauds as well. Tussauds too is interested in expanding their branches in Asian countries like India, Thailand, China and others. As a result, they have come forward to create the wax statue of Prabhas and are contemplating to create more statues of Indian actors to woo tourists from India.
