Sardaar Satellite Victory on BM

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' has created the pre release business records of Tollywood. It was earlier reported that the movie had done the theatrical business of Rs.80 crores. The movie surpassed 'Baahubali's pre biz in a few areas while it stood next to 'Baahubali' in some other areas. Apart from doing record theatrical business, 'SGS' satellite rights were sold out to ZEE Telugu channel for a whopping price of Rs.13 crores. 

On the other side, Prince Mahesh's 'Brahmotsavam's satellite rights were sold out to Rs.11.50 crores and stands next to 'SGS'. The movie's pre biz numbers are yet to come out for all the areas. However, looking into the trends of Nizam, Ceded, other areas of AP and Karnataka, the movie is unlikely to surpass 'SGS' pre biz. However, 'Brahmotsavam' showed upper hand in theatrical business in the US. The movie was sold out to Rs.13 crores for US. 'SGS' fetched Rs.11.50 crores in this territory. 

'SGS' is all set for a grand release on April 8. The movie has been directed by KS Ravindra on Northstar Entertainment. Mahesh's 'Brahmotsavam' is scheduled for release in mid May. Srikanth Addala is the director of the movie.
