Shahrukh Khan and Kajol's 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', has been running since 1995 in Maratha Mandir of Mumbai and is successfully completing 20 years of its run this December. None of the movies in the world had such an amazing long run record.
Unfortunately, the owners of Maratha Mandir have decided to terminate the movie this December, as the movie completes 1000 weeks run by then. Mr Desai, the owner of the theater says, "We may not show this film after December once it completes 1000 weeks. Over the years, we got good response as the cinema hall is close to the Mumbai Central railway station and state transport bus stand. Recently, the collection has taken a nosedive and, therefore, we are thinking of discontinuing the show."
'DDLJ' was dubbed into Telugu as 'Preminchi Pelladutha' and the movie became a super hit in AP.
