The highly anticipated Ntr and Prashanth Neel project, which began filming on February 20, 2025, is facing growing concerns in industry circles. Despite being in production for over a year, the Ntr Neel film is yet to release a first look or any major update, leaving fans restless. The long silence from the makers and lack of fresh promotional content have started to affect the initial hype. What began as a high-expectation pan-India venture is now seeing questions about its planning and progress.  

Reports suggest key changes behind the scenes are adding to the uncertainty around the Ntr Neel movie. Actor Tovino Thomas, who reportedly shot for a 35-day schedule at RFC, is now out of the project. Shahid Kapoor is being considered as a replacement, hinting at a shift in the film’s casting strategy. At the same time, rumours of extensive reshoots have emerged, with speculation of a financial setback close to ₹25 crore. While reshoots are common for big-budget films, these updates point to ongoing creative or executional challenges for the Ntr and Prashanth Neel collaboration.  

Marketing concerns are also affecting the Ntr Neel film’s momentum. Fans expecting regular updates have only seen repeated gym-look visuals of Ntr, which have not helped sustain excitement.
