Exhibitors experiencing scares about empty Theatres

Sankranthi brought smiles to Tollywood as all the films performed well at the box office and even people coming to the theatres.
However , from then on the small films failed to continue the momentum and now the theatres are wearing an empty look. Though some blame the ongoing IPL and scorching heat, many say lack of strong content and innovate concepts are the real reason.
An Exhibitor says “audiences have almost disappeared from theatres” He said "Godari Gattupaina arrived with moderate visibility after being promoted as a good entertainer. However, the film failed to generate meaningful pre-release buzz."
Talking about Ravi Babu’s Razor he adds "Its a contrived plot with dated narration,' The Exhibitor believes "Telugu audiences still enthusiastically support theatrical cinema when a film genuinely excites them. But viewing habits have changed dramatically in recent years. OTT platforms and piracy continue to damage theatre culture, with streaming services offering fresh content every Thursday and Friday."
