Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan trumpeting Sanatana Dharma for BJP.  Till few decades back, talking of Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma was regarded as anti secularism and anti democratic.

The moment anyone spoke about it, all the parties branded them as RSS people, Sanghis or Sanatanis. Even the regional parties like TDP, BRS and others followed the same trend in the two Telugu states. KCR, chief of BRS used to target Hindus to attack BJP.

In the midst of all this, it is a surprising trend to see Natasimha Balakrishna and Power Star Pawan Kalyan trumpeting Sanatana Dharma on and off the screen and many feel that they are doing this to please the BJP bosses which are the ruling party at the Centre.

Pawan Kalyan came up with a period entertainer Hari Hara Veera Mallu in which he played the role of Veera Mallu who fights against the Aurangazeb and Moghuls turning the protector of Sanatana Dharma.

Now, Balakrishna came up with a socio fantasy entertainer Akhanda 2 Thaandavam in which he played the role of an Aghora talking about Hinduism, Hindu Dharma, Sanatana Dharma and he went two steps ahead talking about Vishwa Guru, Operation Sindhoor, Galwan battle etc.

Pawan Kalyan also sported saffron attire and went on Temple sojourn across the country to save temples and Sanatana Dharma. This shows how much extent, Pawan Kalyan as Jana Sena chief and Dy CM of AP and Balakrishna, as Hindupur MLA and brother in law of AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu are going all out competing with each other to be in the good books of PM Modi. It is known that these are the same people who during 2019 elections went hammer and tongs on PM Modi and BJP.
