Coolie comes with countdown video

Super Star Rajinikanth is getting ready to show his power with his upcoming film Coolie which is progressing in full swing under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is up for a spectacular release on 14 August 2025.

The makers delighted the fans by coming out with the countdown video. The countdown video released with just 100 days to go for the release, took movie lovers into the world of Coolie.

The video featured Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj with back postures before Rajinikanth making his appearance in a stylish manner in the backdrop of sunset.

Anirudh Ravichander came up with breathtaking background score. The film stars Shruti Haasan in important role while reports have it that Aamir Khan also feature in a powerful cameo.

Sun Pictures is bankrolling the project in a prestigious manner. The film was shot in a spectacular way in the exotic locations of Chennai, , Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Jaipur and Thailand.
