Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha, an iconic pair in the Tamil film industry, are set to reunite for director Venkat Prabhu's 'GOAT' (The Greatest of All Time), following their successful collaboration in 'Leo.' According to a DT Next report, Trisha will make a cameo appearance in the film, having already completed shooting for her portions, including a song with the ensemble cast. With the shooting of 'GOAT' nearing completion, fans are eagerly anticipating this reunion on the big screen.

Reports suggest that Vijay will be portraying dual roles - as both the hero and the villain - in this period science fiction film. The ensemble cast, including Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Laila, Mohan, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj, promises a thrilling narrative with each actor taking sides with either the hero or the villain.

'GOAT' will also feature a special dance number with Thalapathy Vijay and Prabhudheva, choreographed to a peppy track composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. While the duo previously danced to the lively 'Pokkiri Pongal' song from 'Pokkiri,' this time, they will showcase their moves in an entire song, adding to the film's excitement.

Produced on a grand scale by AGS Entertainment, 'GOAT' boasts a stellar technical team, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, and editing by Venkat Raajen. Shot across locations in Chennai, Thailand, Hyderabad, and Pondicherry, the film is currently in its final stages of production and is slated for a theatrical release later this year.
